Flotsam and Jetsam has always been an American metal band that I admire for their uniqueness in terms of music and branding. The last album I had bought of them was When The Storm Come Down, somewhen in the early 1990s. Therefore, learning that they are still around, managing to stay afloat by doing business the new way, meaning not struggling with CD sales but embracing the web 2.0 and crowd-fund their releases, made me very happy.
We interviewed frontman Eric “AK” Knutson for From Hero To Zero and he told us about the lost master-tapes for the re-release of No Place For Disgrace, how to got into crowd-funding, and other interesting things. Check out the interview!
